Tokyo by night looks like Paris. There’s a tower in the middle of the city that looks like an Eiffel Tower but a bit smaller in size. And where’s the best place to view Tokyo’s skyline at night? Head over to Roponggi Hills, known for the Japanese yuppies and fashionistas.
This is the 360 degrees view of Tokyo from Roponggi Hill.
To go up there, you need to pay 1500 yen. For this amount you will be on the floor where it is surrounded / protected by glass walls, so pictures won’t be impressive. But, still, it’s incredible up there!
There’s an additional 300 yen if you wanna go up to the open-air viewing deck. ONLY pay for this if the weather is nice or tolerable. The wind can be bitingly cold.
Ropponggi Hill is EXPENSIVE because it’s the place where the socialites and social climbers go for shopping and clubbing. There are tens of restaurants serving international cuisines and cafes are everywhere.
If you have cash to burn, this is your place to be.
And oh, dress up to kill if you don’t want to be stared at. 😉
