One of the best and free things to do in the west coast is to watch the breathtaking sunsets in California. They’ll never fail to amaze every sunset lovers. While in San Francisco, I’ve only got to see it once from a distance. In Los Angeles, sunsets are fabulous backdrop of those tall, thin palm trees that are as ubiquitous as surfers in the beach. In San Diego, I had the chance to see the golden sun gone beyond the horizon of the Pacific Ocean—leaving me speechless, if not hopelessly wishing for romance.
As they say, “some of the best things in life are free.” Sunsets have always been free even before men and women were created. 🙂
At the end of the day, it’s a relief to bury your feet in the sand, listen to the ebbing tides, watch the surfers chasing waves and kiss the mighty sun goodbye. That, my friends, why life is better at the beach.

The boardwalk at Mission Beach is a good place for hot guy-watching at sunset. Tens of shirtless, buffed, muscled and toned men strut their god-like, tanned body for us to enjoy. 🙂
