The Views from the Lesser Town Bridge Tower in Prague
The Lesser Town Bridge Tower has a much better view than its opposite tower across Charles Bridge. The views from above show the panoramic skyline of the Old Town Prague, Charles Bridge, and the Vltava River. Though it is shorter than the Gothic black tower on the opposite end, it has a 360-degree view of the city.

The thing I like about visiting this tower is the presence of a few tourists only.

Even if Charles Bridge can be such a crowded place to be in, surprisingly, this tower receives fewer visitors.

On the western edge of the Charles Bridge, you will find two towers.

These towers serve as the entrance or the gate to Mala Strana (Little Quater) neighborhood.

The shorter one is of the Baroque architectural style, and the taller one is of the Gothic style. The latter is, of course, the Lesser Town Bridge Tower.

Unlike other towers in Prague, this one is not really difficult to climb.

At 43.5 meters high, there are four landings to rest on before reaching the top.

The views from the top would never disappoint you.

Despite the heavy foot traffic, there was no queue when I visited that day.

I really thought of skipping this tower on my way to Prague Castle because of the crowd near the entrance. It turned out they were not lining up. I was so glad I came up here.

If there are two towers you should climb in Prague, I think the Old Town Tower and the Lesser Town Bridge Tower are the best ones.
