So I had a photo op at I amsterdam sign statue and the sky turned pink! The sign is in front of Rijksmuseum and can be best visited anytime but best early in the morning. With the absence of tourists, the city’s sign is yours to enjoy. However, be really early there because you won’t even notice, camwhores come sooner than you expect them to arrive. When the sun rises, prepare to be wowed! The sky displays a wonderful colour of baby pink!

What is I amsterdam? It’s simply a tourism campaign slogan for the city. It has become a city icon and no visitors can resist taking a photo in front or top of it. During summer and peak times, the letters are full of camwhores posing anywhere the sign. A visit to Amsterdam isn’t complete without taking a pose here. 😀

WHERE TO STAY IN AMSTERDAM

If you’re on a budget and won’t mind staying at the centre of the Red Lights District, I’d recommend Heart of Amsterdam Hostel. It’s within walking distance to the train station and some tourists attractions. The hostel also have discount cards which you can use to visit some places of interests. Cleanliness is not really a strong suit for this hostel but it’s ok. I didn’t see any cockroaches and other insects. 😀 You can book it through Booking.com.
