How To Transport Camels in Saudi Arabia
Last weekend, while on our way for our weekend shopping, we saw these camels being transported in a Toyota pick-up. As you can see, there are three of them and they seem to be well-behaved camels. I wonder how they were enticed to go into the back of the car and how they could fit in a such a tiny, cramped space.
So, this is how to transport camels in Saudi Arabia.
It’s actually my first time to see them transported like this. Most of the time, I see some of them being led along the highway but not in car. I’m just hoping that they’re moved to another camel farm and not sold to be butchered.
Fact:
Do you know that car accidents in Saudi Arabia involving camels being killed on the road can lead you to be fined many thousand riyals? And a prison term is also possible.
