Things to do at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi
Ferrari World is awesome when you’re with someone or group of friends. My brother had to eke out a living—so I was left alone to do all those crazy, heart-stopping rides. However, he got me a 50% discount because he knew some people working there. But, even if it was half the price, I spent nothing because he paid it for me—his way to console me. LOL…
Here are some of the things I did at Ferrari World.
Ferano GT Challenge
I decided to try this one first when I saw that everybody was heading to the same direction—the world’s fastest rollercoaster. And it was a good decision because there were only two guys and me who took the ride. They were Team A and I was Team B. This is a rollercoaster where two connecting coasters race to the finish line. Of course, nobody won. We both arrived at the same time. The coasters here are not really that exciting for me. Not too high and too fast. But, it’s a good start to prepare yourself for the Formula Rosa.
Formula Rosa
This is for sure the theme park’s most-visited attraction for one reason: it is the world’s fastest roller coaster that accelerates up to 240 km/h in less than five seconds. This is your ultimate F1 experience. Do you know how many times I rode in this? Three times!
Viaggio in Italia
I was the only one during the show. This is an excellent 3D experience where I feel like I was in a classic Italian road rally—-only that I saw it from above. As a traveler at heart, this is my favourite attraction where I was flown into the heart and countryside of Italy—all in four seasons. There’s no doubt you’ll love this and you’ll leave the place like there’s no need for you to go to Italy because you’ve seen it all.
Karting Academy
The line here is going to be long and the processing via an electronic registration might take long. When you’re done registering, you should go back in your scheduled time, or else you’ll do the whole process again. Here is your chance to drive a Ferrari go-kart like you’re in a live F1 race. Don’t worry about your karting skills. All levels are welcome. Believe me, I learned it quickly even with no previous experience. Good luck! 😀
Driving with the Champion
This is basically a short film about the history of the F1 Formula Race. It’s worth seeing. Plan and check the times of the showing.
Speed of Magic
You’ll enjoy this chasing 4D stimulator. You’re gonna follow the adventure of a young boy through fantasy dreamscapes. You’ll be a child again in this attraction.
Bel’ Italia
Ride in a miniature Ferrari and explore the miniature Italy in a slow pace.
RED: A Theatrical , Spectacular of Speed and Passion
Well, there’s one reason to watch this show. This guy. 😀
Ok, II’m perhaps biased. There are other casts in the show who are good-looking, too. 😀 😀 😀
Galleria Ferrari
Feast your eyes on the different models, sizes and colours of Ferrari cars. There’s a rainbow of classic Ferraris here!
Tyre Change Experience Show
Well, the title speaks for itself. Here’s a tip: if they call for volunteers, raise your hands–and you’ll have fun!
I tried few more stuff but they’re forgettable, really. There were still many things that I had to do and experience but I was running out of time. I had to get out at 3PM because my brother had to pick me up and bring me to another attraction in the city.
Don’t forget to admire those real Ferrari cars on display anywhere like they’re art installations.
There are a number of restaurants and cafes here and no need to worry about being thirsty and hungry. But, I’d like to recommend dining in one of the Italian-inspired restaurants and feel like you’re in the country itself. And oh, order a pizza or a pasta to go with that experience. 😀
Visiting Tips:
Be there first hour in the morning if you want to experience everything what Ferrari World has to offer. If possible, visit during weekdays. Fewer people when I went there.
