This Cloud Forest Park in Singapore is Incredible!
The Cloud Forest Park in Singapore is a must-visit tourist attraction at Gardens by the Bay. From the moment I entered, the sound of the man-made waterfall was a welcome relief from the topsy-turvy world outside. The mist that the waterfalls produce was such a fresh, cool feeling that embraced my skin.

I wasn’t really planning to go here because I thought it’s just another tropical garden. But a friend of mine convinced me to go because she really thought I’d like it. And guess what – she knows me well. I did like it!

As expected, plants are everywhere. There are plants that look familiar but most are unknown to me.

The thing that I like here is how they landscaped the whole area. It’s well-planned, well-manicured, and well-maintained.

Encased in a greenhouse-like dome, the jungle is covered in massive glass panes.

The Cloud Forest Park is enormous! Imagine 60 Olympic-sized swimming pools together and you get the idea.

A huge mountain where you can climb through steps and bridges is breathtaking!

As you go from one level to another level, the views outside are changing.

Unlike other tropical gardens I’ve been to, I had a very leisurely walk here.

Every step I took seem to reveal a different point of view of the panorama before me.

Also, as crossed/walked on bridges, I felt the temperature was getting cooler – enough to keep my t-shirt on. 😀

Someone told me that the temperature is as cooler as standing on a misty mountain, 900-2700 meters above sea level.

You can also find swamps, caves, gardens, sculptures and many more!

Going inside the Forest Dome was a different experience. Although I didn’t really feel like I was in a forest or a jungle, I’m glad I went in there.

I learned lessons from nature and I salute to those who keep this forest alive with almost everything you can ever see in a jungle. Well, except the wild animals, of course!

Where to Stay in Singapore
Singapore is an expensive country. Fortunately for me, I have a friend who offered one of the rooms in her apartment. Since staying in hotels are expensive, the best option for budget travelers is, of course, hostels. You can book them via Booking, Expedia, HostelWorld, and TripAdvisor.
