Chocolate Hills in Bohol – View from Carmen Peak
Chocolate Hills in Bohol is a natural wonder that you have to see. It’s not like any other natural wonder you’ve seen in your life. There’s not just one or a hundred chocolate hills (or mounds) but 1,776 of them scattered like they’re some kind of a giant’s turd. LOL….
The local people have legends about the scattered hills formations. Science, of course, has its own theory. Whichever you believe, it doesn’t matter. Just enjoy it. If you don’t like one, there are 1,775 chocolate hills more to taste from. :))
Like the expensive hersheys on display on the window glasses at the department stores, these chocolate hills are for your eyes only.
There are two places where you can see the panorama of the Chocolate Hills: Carmen Peak and Sagbayan Peak. Visit them both if you’ve got time. They’re not far from each other.

Chocolate Hills in Bohol – View from Carmen Peak
It’s a steep climb but don’t worry, there are steps and rails you can hold on to. Take your time. It might be arduous for some but just think of the view when you reach there.
Don’t rush yourself. Take in the view.
When I say take in the view, don’t take a lot of photos while doing it. Stop and look as far as your eyes can see.
Can you count them? Just try! LOL… 🙂
Some mounds have receding hairline and some are shaved. 😉
Some look like volcanoes and some are perfect cones!
Enjoy the view.
