Cheltenham Badlands

Almost an hour drive from downtown Toronto is a bizarre place where you can camwhore to your hearts’ content. It is called BADLANDS in the Cheltenham countryside. “Badlands is a geologic term for an area of soft rock devoid of vegetation and soil cover that has become molded into a rolling landscape of rounded hills and gullies.”

Do NOT go on a rainy day. The red soil becomes muddy–unless, of course if you want to get red-dy and dirty. And if you go there on cloudy day, your photos aren’t that good enough to make your friends envious. If you go there on a sunny day, you’ll have awesome pictures—and fool your friends by saying that you are IN MARS. 😉
