Anyone going to the the medina in Fes must pass through Bab Boujloud. This is a huge blue gate built in 1913.

Its impressive, delicate arabesque and knot work ornaments never fail to attract attention to anyone visiting the city.

Next to the main arch are two small arches.

Few steps from this gate, visitors can discover the ancient water distributor composed of complex underground network that goes into public baths and fountains, homes and mosques.
