Just outside the barbed wire fence of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Madain Saleh in Saudi Arabia is the towering Athleb Mountain. They’re a breathtakingly gorgeous wonder that withstood the burning temperature of the desert.
Athleb Mountain is just a few kilometres drive away outside Al Ula in Tabuk Province.
If you’re driving around the premises of Madian Saleh, you can never miss this wonderful landscape that will take your breath away.
They look like towering skyscrapers of a once progressive city in eons past.
The mountain’s spires are like one of those that you see in cathedrals in Europe with Gothic architecture.
And wherever / whichever angle you’d be in for a selfie, Athleb Mountain would never fail to be a photogenic natural wonder in the background.
With this kind of desert view, who can’t resist taking a million selfie? 😀
You should go camping – an experience you won’t forget. We stayed both in Sahary Al Ola Camp and Madakhil Camp. If one is full, we choose the other. ? If camping in the desert is not your thing, you can always stay at Al Ula Arac Hotel in downtown.
