Get Wet at Albion Falls
If you’re looking for a day trip outside Toronto, head out to Hamilton where the cascading Albion Falls is waiting for you to get wet. It’s an hour (or less if you take the HOV) drive and you won’t regret it. Bring an extra dry clothes for you to wear later—and don’t litter. And PLEASE, enjoy the warm water by really taking a dip into the falls! I hated it when I was the ONLY one who got wet and “wild”. LOL…. Most of the visitors were just there to take selfies! My god, I didn’t get the memo that Albion Falls is for a selfie adventure! 😀
I can’t imagine myself visiting Albion Falls or any waterfalls and all I have to do there is take pictures. LOL…. Unless, of course, if it’s really prohibited, like Niagara Falls or Angel Falls or Iguazo Falls.
So, anyway, since you’ll be in Hamilton area, don’t forget to drop by a Sunflower Farm there. If you still have time, visit the Lavender Farm in Milton on your way back to Toronto.
This is the bird’s eye view of Albion Falls.
It’s a beautiful waterfalls where the water cascades on a terraced rock formations that look like man-made.
It’s certainly a good place to take wedding photos, like this one.
In fact, we’ve seen 5 couples doing their wedding pictorials here.
With their huge entourage!
And these visitors sitting on the rocks are obviously waiting for the couple to leave so they could go camwhoring on their own. 😀
Albion Falls is also a good place to meditate. 😉
Or find Nirvana.
Or just simply get wet and “wild.” 😀
Albion Falls Address: 885 Mountain Brow Blvd, Hamilton, ON L8T
There’s a small parking nearby. Good luck getting a spot when you’re there.
UPDATE: AUGUST 10, 2017
I got a message from a reader that as of this year you will be fined for trespassing. Fences have been erected this summer because of several rescues and a death.
