Spend an Afternoon by the Main River in Frankfurt
It is always a good idea to spend an afternoon

I’d highly recommend this and if you have a spare from your budget, stay at one of the bars or restaurants alongside the river.

If you have budgetary constraints, don’t forget to buy some cans of beer or food and have a merry, little picnic here.

Join the rest of the locals as they admire the modern skyline of skyscrapers across the river. The sun sets behind these skyscrapers.

Out of 15 skyscrapers (buildings more than 150 meters tall) in Germany, Frankfurt has 14 of them!

No wonder, the city is called, the “Chicago of Germany.”

When having a picnic is too much or too cheesy for you, then, strolling leisurely by the river banks will do.

Cross the bridge and take a lot of photos.

The views from here are wonderful!

Traveling with your lover?

WHERE TO STAY IN FRANKFURT
I stayed in Frankfurt for 3 days and two nights. Because I had an early train ride to Stuttgart, I checked in myself at Savoy Hotel which is just a few steps from the train terminal. The small room has got everything you need – that is – if your needs are simple, like mine. 😉 They have their own bar and the hotel is surrounded by restaurants, groceries, and bars. If you want to stay in hostels, you can find them here.
